The audience saw Varia turn into a "beautiful swan" in
2000, when she and her young Sheltie Tissan Justas won the first
place in Group B at the Russian Agility Championship, with a second-best
result of all Mini teams. Varia's team won the second place.
In 2001, Varia and Justas became Vice Champions at the RKF Championship
of Russia, awardees of a number of all-Russian competitions and
also took part in the FCI Agility World Championship in Portugal.
In Portu Varia had four brilliant clean runs. She was the best
Russian handler in team competition and took the 21st place in individual
competition.
Varvara Kataeva is a student of the Perm Politechnical University.
Through the whole of her Agility carrier, she is a member the DTYu
(Youth Creativity Centre) club in Perm, which is trained by Alla
Belaya.
